I am just where you are. The things I make just end up being closet filling. No matter how much I think I loved them, after a while I don't even have the desire to wear them. With me, I think it is mostly down to fabric choices. I wasn't picky in the beginning, but now I am really fussy and can't find anything at my local fabric store. I have wondered about following the wardrobe architect, but I fear I am not that structured!
I am sure you will figure it out ;) Enjoy!PinhousePlaymatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17116223260537085062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3810172271174945297.post-67551773492139238992015-08-09T04:26:19.395-07:002015-08-09T04:26:19.395-07:00Oh these look smashing! I did try to zoom on your bum (ha that sentence isn't weird!) and I agree pockets could be smaller. But otherwise you look great. All the best with your wardrobe sabbatical. Half the pleasure for me is in the planning and so I hope you really enjoy the process. I wrote the post last night and in it I say I learnt more having a breather than going round and round....so it's kind of weird you post this now! Good luck developing new ideas! xPhilippahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05979470577235630724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3810172271174945297.post-52641329534116501062015-08-08T20:34:22.186-07:002015-08-08T20:34:22.186-07:00These look great, and thanks for the thorough revi...These look great, and thanks for the thorough review. I've been making wardrobe basics lately and could use a great skinny jean pattern... I think I'll try this one!sew rachel!https://www.blogger.com/profile/06569084994328220284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3810172271174945297.post-87132166966079512052015-08-08T18:17:55.608-07:002015-08-08T18:17:55.608-07:00Your pants look fantastic! I haven't been feeling like sewing quite as much recently and yet I found myself making plans to drive to the store because of a pattern sale. It's easy to accumulate with so much inspiration coming from all angles. Please do share how your plans shape up, if you feel like it!Crab and Beehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13392731276180198699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3810172271174945297.post-41391869584499356372015-08-08T13:03:42.133-07:002015-08-08T13:03:42.133-07:00Wow, great job, I'm very impressed. And I obviously approve of the quilting, nice touch! :) (and very pleasing to have been the inspiration for anything!).

I can kind of relate on the wardrobe full of stuff. I have pretty much made my fill of simple shaped tops in great prints! I'm not a capsule wardrobe kind of person, although I can see why they are popular and practical, but I definitely need to up my sewing game and attempt some more tricky, time consuming patterns. and I need to focus on sewing what I need (jeans, trousers), rather than buying a fab fabric and then making yet another Scout because I only have a metre!!! Good luck! I look forward to reading about your plans. XHelenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06525020848581000170noreply@blogger.com
